Hanover --- New York, 24 January 2008. Skeye, the brand of Höft & Wessel AG in Germany, made a second successful showing at the annual Trade Show of the NRF (National Retail Federation), the opening event of the U.S. trade fair season in New York.
More than twice as many sales enquiries than in 2007 bear testimony to the immense interest in skeye high tech made in Germany, as presented by this IT specialist from Hanover. In addition to U.S. companies of note, such as Autozone, Love’s, Staples and Target, distributors also increasingly made efforts to engage in discussions with Skeye representatives. Apart from the classical mobile data recording devices, it was the mobile terminals skeye.pad XSL, skeye.pad POS and skeye.pad MPC an XP variant that attracted particular interest (see attached pdf-files). Since its debut at the NRF a year ago, Skeye and its state-of-the-art product range has increasingly been acknowledged by U.S. retailers as a serious alternative to traditional mobile products.
Skeye attracted not just U.S. prospects at the trade fair booth, as numerous representatives of large European retail organizations also took advantage of the New York event to obtain information on novel features from Skeye in the run-up to the EuroShop fair to be held in Düsseldorf.
On the whole, Höft & Wessel can look back on two successful trade fair days, which are likely to result in yet another milestone being established in our developing the U.S. market.
In the next weeks, Skeye will continue to have a strong media presence, e.g. at the Logimat show in Stuttgart from 18–21/02/2008, the EuroShop fair in Düsseldorf from 23/02/2008, the embedded world 2008 in Nuremberg from 26-28/02/2008 and the CeBIT on its home turf in Hanover from 4–9/03/2008.
