Hanover, 30/01/2009. Skeye, the business division for retail and logistics of the IT and hardware specialist Hoeft & Wessel, will be displaying a full package solution for self-scanning and self-checkout services for the retail sector at this year’s EuroCIS.

The entire self-service shopping process will be presented from start to finish. To this end, in addition to the new self-scanner skeye.dart and the self-checkout terminal skeye.quickpay, Skeye has developed a dispenser for the mobile devices in the entrance area and fixtures for scanners on shopping carts. Transmission of the merchandise data scanned by the skeye.dart to the self-paying terminal skeye.quickpay can be realized by WLAN, USB or in barcode form. After a substantial number of full self-service shopping facilities have already been installed in other European countries, Skeye now assumes that there will be increased demand for these services, particularly in Germany.
