The interrogator skeye.smart UHF has been developed especially for the retail and logistic market to achieve the actual requirements for long range identification and high volume bulk reading of passive smart label transponders.

The compact device includes the read & write unit and optimised antennas to minimize the installation effort. Up to 32 interrogators can be conected to a small network. Up to 8 skeye.smart UHF are connectable to the data management unit/concentrator (DCU) for dock door/portal application or to use extended interface options.

The DCU includes also filtering of data as well as event triggering. The skeye.smart UHF supports almost all types of current transponders e. g. ISO 18000-6 or EPC global. Upcoming transponder types will be integrated by firmware updates to protect your investment against technology changes.

Your specific benefit:
No labour-intensive and costly laying of coax cables and HF couplings is needed to connect the antenna units. As the antennas already incorporate HF high-level stages, signal processor and RS485 interfaces, simple two wire cabling is sufficient to install the units.
